The heart of American cleantech is on the U.S. East Coast. There ACTION was born, a network of business incubators that includes a production hub in Trentino, Italy.
Four young entrepreneurs based in Progetto Manifattura had the chance to present their business idea to the Unicredit team: Ecosistemi, Eneray, Noivion, Ecogriddy, all grown inside the incubating program of Progetto Manifattura. Start Lab has met a group of young entrepreneur from Trentino the 4th of march at Progetto Manifattura, the largest Italian green-economy business hub, based in Rovereto. «Unicredit group, through its peers, is ready to invest up to 250K € in the most promising start-ups», said Giusi Stanziola, Unicredit Start Lab director. «We have granted 10K € for 4 different awards, we will offer education through our Start-up Academy to strengthen managerial skills, thanks to Unicredit credentialed professionals».
The next EMAS Awards will be handed out to winners by the European Commissioner for the Environment Janez Potočnik on 7 April 2014. The CEO of Progetto Manifattura, Gianluca Salvatori, has been invited to be a member of the jury.
